Completion of a first aid training course at the Egyptian Russian University

In cooperation with the Egyptian Red Crescent, the Egyptian Russian University organized a first aid training course. This course targeted the nursing staff of the medical administration, a group of employees representing the various departments of the university, and a group of students from all university faculties. Over three days, the course included theoretical and practical training for the most important emergency health situations, including: heart attack, sudden airway obstruction, cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), drowning, wounds, bleeding, burns, fractures, abdominal, chest and eye injuries, shock, fainting and coma, convulsions, poisoning, insect bites, stinging, exposure to extreme heat or cold. The Scientific Association of the Egyptian Pharmaceutical Students’ Federation (EPSF-ERU) and the Social Solidarity Unit at the Egyptian Russian University participated in the organization. At the end of the training course, certificates of passing the course were distributed to the participants. The university administration thanks all participants from different departments and students from all university faculties for their attendance and meaningful discussions during the course.
