Within the framework of the continuous cooperation between the Egyptian Russian University, Badr and Al-Shorouk educational area & The Addiction Treatment and Control Fund. And within the activities of # Conscious youth campaign, launched by the Egyptian Russian University for the sixth year, a group of ERU students, volunteers of the Social Solidarity Unit on campus, and a team from The Addiction Control and Treatment Fund, visited Talaat Harb Military Hotel School in Badr City.

The campaign team held an awareness lecture for the school students about the harmful effects of cigarette smoking and drug abuse. The team also distributed awareness brochures to the students. This visit comes to activate the community role and commitment to the university’s social responsibility, and to maximize the role of youth in effective positive participation in community awareness, and combating the phenomenon of cigarette smoking and addiction.
