The Egyptian Russian University is keen to provide opportunities for its students to learn about and participate in the various professional fields of work in order to gain experience and develop practical skills through cooperation with major companies to transfer professional expertise to students and contribute to market meeting requirements and keeping pace with developments in the field of project management. From this standpoint, the students of the construction engineering program at the university visited many major projects under construction in order to gain professional application experience and receive some on-site lectures on occupational safety and security applications, methods of managing major projects and controlling the quality of the required work in accordance with international standards.
Among the major projects that were visited were the projects of Hassan Allam Holding Company, for the purpose of preparing fourth-year students to present graduation projects. The faculty members of the construction department organized and supervised the presentation of models of some of the projects that were visited in cooperation with major companies specialized in the field of project management. Proposals were submitted by students to manage project data using modern methods of modeling and data integration. Some proposed applications for project management that help save time and costs and facilitate follow-up and control of data during implementation were presented in the presence of the project work team and some company leaders.
