Dr. Sherif Fakhry Mohamed Abd-el-Naby, President of the Egyptian Russian University (ERU), announced that the university administration welcomes new students, graduates of general secondary education or its equivalent, to join its eight faculties, including the Faculty of Management, Economics, and Business Technology. He pointed out that, since its establishment, with the full support of Dr. Mohamed Kamal Mostafa, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, the university has sought to realize its vision of achieving a prestigious position among Egyptian, Arab, and international universities by offering distinguished education and programs, as well as providing students with various activities: scientific, research, athletic, cultural, social, and recreational ones.
The President of the ERU highlighted that the university’s Faculty of Management, Economics, and Business Technology offers a range of distinguished programs leading to degrees accredited by both the Supreme Council of Universities and the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Education. He pinpointed that the faculty in the present time hosts fourteen distinguished programs and has advanced laboratories and lecture theaters equipped with the latest technical systems, which are necessary for providing students with practical training on modern professional tools in the areas of finance and business.
Dr. Sherif Fakhry Mohamed Abd-el-Naby added that the faculty is committed to genuinely implementing practice-based education and bridging the gap between academic theory and professional reality. This is accomplished by organizing field visits to banks, companies, financial institutions, and national projects, alongside specialized workshops, seminars, and continuous training programs. These initiatives aim at developing the skills of students at the Faculty of Management, Economics, and Business Technology, expanding their horizons, and supporting their practical experience, thereby ensuring the graduation of professionals qualified for the modern labor market.
In the same context, Dr. Al-Tahera Al-Sayed Hameya, Dean of the Faculty of Management, Economics, and Business Technology at the ERU, stated that the Faculty’s programs are distinguished by their capability to keep pace with rapid developments in the finance and business sectors. This is attained by combining traditional academic foundations, such as economics, accounting, finance, marketing, and political science, with modern disciplines, that are related to digital transformation, including the digital economy, information systems, and financial technology. These programs qualify graduates to meet the demands of local, regional, and international labor markets. This is basically achieved through concluding cooperation agreements with major banking institutions and leading companies across the finance, business, and technology sectors in order to build students’ capacities and to equip them with the necessary practical skills, in addition to field training programs and field visits to banks, companies, and the Egyptian Stock Market.
The Dean of the Faculty stated that the faculty’s programs are divided into three main categories: the first includes traditional programs in management and economics; the second comprises Digital Political Science and Digital Economics programs; and the third encompasses modern programs that are related to the areas of business technology and data.
Dr. Al-Tahera Al-Sayed Hameya highlighted that the “Economics Program” qualifies graduates for careers in various areas, including:
1- Government agencies; and economic and planning institutions.
2- The Central Bank, commercial banks, and economic research centers.
3- International and regional organizations that are concerned with economic development.
4- Economic consultancy and feasibility study companies.

– The “Accounting Program” opens up for graduates broad career opportunities, most notably:
1- Financial and tax accountant in companies and institutions.
2- Internal and external auditor at auditing and accounting companies.
3- Cost and budget accountant.
4- Independent accounting and tax expert.
5- Various jobs at the Central Auditing Organization and regulatory authorities.

– As for the “Finance and Investment Program,” it enables graduates to work in:
1- Financial departments of companies and institutions.
2- Banks, as well as investment and asset management companies.
3- Insurance companies and pension funds.
4- The Egyptian Stock Market and securities brokerage companies.

– The Marketing Program, in addition, qualifies graduates for the following positions:
1- Marketing and sales officer at local and international companies.
2- Advertising and promotional campaign planner.

– The “Political Science Program” qualifies graduates for careers in:

The Dean of the Faculty of Management, Economics, and Business Technology at the ERU asserted that the track of Digital Political Science and Digital Economy encompasses:
– The “Digital Economy Program,” which is considered a promising specialization that goes in line with the digital transformation in the finance and business sectors, enabling graduates to work in:
1- Government authorities and companies concerned with digital transformation.
2- Technology, electronic commerce, and digital economy companies.
3- Digital economic research and study centers.
4- International organizations working in the field of digital economy.

– The “Digital Political Science Program” is concerned with studying the impact of digital transformation on public policy-making and the management of public affairs, enabling graduates to work in:
1- Government authorities concerned with digital policy and electronic governance.
2- Research centers and institutes concerned with public policy and digitalization.
3- International and regional organizations concerned with digital policy.
4- Consultancy companies specializing in technology policy.

Dr. Al-Tahera Al-Sayed Hameya also highlighted that the “Modern Programs” track includes:
– The “Business Information Systems” program. This program combines computer science with business administration, qualifying graduates to work in:
1- Analyzing and designing management information systems in companies and institutions.
2- Managing databases and information technology projects.
3- Serving as an IT Business Consultant.
4- Managing information security within a business environment.

– The “Business Analytics Program,” which aims at graduating specialists who are able to analyze business data and support decision-making. Career fields include:
