"Efforts Integration: Comprehensive Awareness Campaign for Pharmacy Students at the Egyptian Russian University about Rational Use of Antibiotics"

Under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Ehab Fotouh, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, in collaboration with the Community Service and Environmental Development Committee at the Faculty.

Through the integration of efforts between the virtual and real worlds, fourth-year students at the Faculty of Pharmacy at the Egyptian Russian University organized a comprehensive campaign to raise awareness among their peers and the surrounding community about the importance of rational antibiotic use. They utilized flyers, posters, videos, and role-playing activities to disseminate their awareness messages.

The campaign began with a successful promotional campaign on social media platforms and the design and printing of invitations, attracting attention and engagement from students and the university community. Subsequently, role-playing activities were organized, and educational pamphlets and posters were designed and printed to explain the negative effects of antibiotic misuse and the necessity of consulting a doctor before taking them.

In the virtual world, the campaign provided meaningful educational content through informative posts and videos illustrating the correct steps for using antibiotics. Students also facilitated virtual discussions to exchange experiences and knowledge on this important topic.

This integration between virtual and real activities is a significant step in promoting health awareness and instilling awareness concepts in students, reflecting their commitment to their social role and responsibility towards community health.
