Entrepreneurship day within the activities of the "Children's University" program at the Egyptian Russian University

Believing in the importance of the influential role of the “Children’s University” in qualifying the emerging generations scientifically and skillfully, and based on the priority of instilling the value of science in children, and providing an incubating environment for the gifted, and under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Sherif Fakhry, President of the University, the Egyptian Russian University continued the activities of the study program at the Children’s University. The children were welcomed in a special day that included a group of activities centered around children’s use of their imagination in order to transform the various materials and elements into something new and innovative, creativity and creation of new ideas, brainstorming, and reverse brainstorming.

The children were also trained in teamwork, such as the Great Obstacle Activity, the Entrepreneur Activity, and Trust, which aimed at building confidence among team members, as well as the Challenges versus Opportunities activity, which aimed at turning challenges into opportunities, and the Selling Your Idea activity, which aimed at training in practicing persuasion skills and identifying products that are commensurate with market needs.
The activities were implemented by Dr. Mona Moussa, the lecturer at the Faculty of Management, Economics and Business Technology and deputy director of the Entrepreneurship Club at the university, in cooperation with the Children’s University team at the Egyptian Russian University.
