Faculty of Pharmacy at the Egyptian Russian University Celebrates the Graduation of the Therapeutic Orientations Diploma Class – Photos

Dr. Sherif Fakhry Mohamed Abdel-Nabi, President of the Egyptian Russian University, announced that as part of the university’s commitment to providing an academic and research environment that prepares highly qualified graduates capable of competing in the labor market, keeping pace with industry demands, producing advanced scientific research, and positively contributing to community service and environmental development within the framework of professional values and ethics to achieve sustainable development, the “Postgraduate Studies Program” has been launched at the Faculty of Pharmacy in five specializations. All these programs are accredited by the Supreme Council of Universities. He also pointed out that the faculty has received accreditation from the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Education “NAQAAE,” with the support of Dr. Mohamed Kamal El-Sayed Mostafa, Chairman of the University’s Board of Trustees.

The President of the Egyptian Russian University emphasized the university’s keenness to offer advanced, specialized postgraduate programs with real impact that align with the latest standards. These programs aim to equip professionals with the necessary skills for scientific research and to keep pace with rapid changes in the labor market, under the supervision of a distinguished group of faculty members. He expressed his happiness at the graduation of a new cohort of pharmacists who completed the Diploma in Therapeutic and Nutritional Orientations for Natural Products, wishing them a bright future. He also extended his gratitude to the faculty members for their dedication to delivering high-quality education and for their efforts in graduating this class.


Postgraduate Programs at the Faculty of Pharmacy

In the same context, Dr. Mohamed Ehab Fetouh, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy at the Egyptian Russian University, explained that since its establishment, the faculty has been striving to achieve its distinguished vision of becoming an outstanding academic institution in pharmaceutical education, scientific research, and community services at the local, regional, and international levels. He added that registration is now open for graduates of all faculties of pharmacy from Egyptian universities to enroll in the faculty’s postgraduate programs, which include:

Specialized Diplomas:

Diploma in Therapeutic and Nutritional Orientations for Natural Products

Diploma in Pharmaceutical Technology


Master’s Programs:

Master’s in Pharmacognosy

Master’s in Clinical Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Practice

Master’s in Biochemistry

 

Duration and Requirements

The Dean added that the study duration for the diploma degree is one academic year (two semesters). As for the Master’s degree, the duration is also one academic year (two semesters), in addition to preparing a scientific thesis. Applications open every year starting from July until capacity is reached. To obtain a Master’s degree, the following requirements must be met:

1. Completion of 50 credit hours.


2. 20 credit hours of compulsory and elective courses.


3. 30 credit hours for the scientific thesis.

 


Admission Requirements for Master’s Programs

Dr. Jamil Abdullah, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy at the Egyptian Russian University, confirmed that applicants for the Master’s degree program must meet the following criteria:

Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Bachelor of Pharmacy (Pharm D), or Clinical Pharm D, with a minimum overall grade of “Good” from an accredited faculty of pharmacy at an Egyptian university.

The applicant must also have obtained at least a “Very Good” average grade in specialized courses.
