Dr. Sherif Fakhry Mohamed Abdel Nabi, President of the Egyptian Russian University, stated that “Huawei Academy”, located in the university, won the third place at the level of Huawei academies in private and national Egyptian universities. This came during Huawei’s annual celebration for the current year (2023) for last year’s harvest in providing technological and technical training whether in the fields of networks, cloud computing, artificial intelligence, and fifth generation networks. The celebration was held in the presence of Dr. Amr Talaat, Minister of Communications and Information Technology, and Mr. Jim Liu, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Huawei Egypt and with the sponsorship and support of Dr. Mohamed Kamal El-Sayed Mostafa, Chairman of the University’s Board of Trustees.

Moreover, Dr. Hisham Fathy, Dean of the Faculty of Artificial Intelligence, and General Supervisor of Huawei Academy at the Egyptian Russian University, added that Dr. Tamer Saleh, Lecturer at the Department of Communications at the Faculty of Engineering and Executive Director of the University’s Huawei Academy, was chosen as one of the 10 best executive trainers at the level of Huawei academies in private and public universities. He received Huawei International Company shield at the company’s third annual celebration for the year (2023).

Last but not least, Dr. Tamer Saleh confirmed that Eng. Fatima Al-Adlani, a graduate of the Faculty of Engineering at the university, was honored for getting the silver medal in the same competition in the field of cloud computing for the year 2022. Among 81 academics within the Egyptian universities and institutes, whether private, governmental or national universities, and the participation of more than 5 thousand contestants at the level of the governorates of the Republic, top ranks were proudly acheived by the university, according to Dr. Tamer Saleh.
