Dr. Sherif Fakhry, President of the Egyptian Russian University, announced that the “Entrepreneurship Club” was opened at campus within the framework of fruitful cooperation between the university and the “Academy of Scientific Research and Technology” affiliated to the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. He noted that this step came with the support of Dr. Mohamed. Kamal El-Sayed Mostafa, Chairman of the University’s Board of Trustees, and in the presence of Dr. Wafaa Abdel-Rasheed, Executive Director of the Taiko Offices and Entrepreneurship Clubs at the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology, and within the framework of the university’s keenness to provide a positive environment; To adopt creative ideas and pioneering works for students, the teaching staff, and faculty members, and to support innovators and inventors among them to establish and successfully manage their small enterprises, and to develop the skills of entrepreneurs.
In tge same context, Dr. Essam Khamis, Vice President of the Egyptian Russian University, added that the goal of establishing an “entrepreneurship club” in universities is to train and empower young people and encourage them to practice entrepreneurial work, engage in society, and develop the necessary skills to succeed as entrepreneurs, through communication. entrepreneurship experts provide opportunities for learning and innovation in partnership with the beneficiaries, and develop professional expertise related to the field of entrepreneurship. This will be followed by encouraging the pioneers to establish emerging companies that contribute to the economy by exploiting, valuing and marketing knowledge, investing innovations from research outputs, converting knowledge outputs into products that add to the economy and contribute to social development, linking universities with society and the industry sector in practice and action, and reducing unemployment rates by creating many job opportunities, and reducing the state’s import bill.” He explained that entrepreneurship clubs focus on allocating funds and supporting emerging projects that support the economy and the circular economy in order to advance the national economy in conjunction with the achievement of goals of sustainable development.
From his side, Dr. Mohamed Farouk, Director of the Entrepreneurship Club at the Egyptian Russian University, explained that the “Entrepreneurship Club” at the university will contribute to solve the problem of university students and graduates after graduation in a manner that suits their skills in society. He explained that every student should from now on think about creating his practical future after graduation through serious ideas, which have become easy to achieve through the “Entrepreneurship Club”, which will provide various types of support in cooperation with the “Academy of Scientific Research and Technology”.
In the same context, Dr. Mona Moussa, Deputy Director of the Entrepreneurship Club at the Egyptian Russian University, declared that the entrepreneur in our society is considered to be a national wealth within the national economy and it is beneficial for the university to support all ideas among college graduates and researchers; To solve all economic problems and increase the welfare of citizens; To reduce the burden on them by providing all products and job opportunities through entrepreneurs, whether in companies and factories.Moussa also added hat “entrepreneurship” is capable of developing and providing jobs in society and contributes mainly to sustainable growth, as well as improving income for members of society.
