Inclusion of the Egyptian Russian University in the Arab classification of universities in its first edition 2023

Dr. Sherif Fakhry, President of the Egyptian Russian University, announced that the university was included in the Arab classification of universities in its first edition for the year (2023), based on the cooperation of the four international bodies: the Association of Arab Universities, the League of Arab States, the Arab Educational, Cultural and Scientific Organization (ALECSO), and the Union of Research Councils. The Arab Scientific University, where (208) Arab universities were submitted for evaluation, of which (115) universities were included in the classification, representing (16) countries out of a total of (22) Arab League countries, and the Egyptian-Russian University’s ranking was No. (25) out of a total of (28). ) is an Egyptian university, ranked No. (70) at the level of Arab universities. According to the main performance indicator “scientific research” in the classification, the university achieved rank No. (50) at the level of Arab universities and rank No. (21) at the level of Egyptian universities.

 

 The President of the Egyptian Russian University praised the distinguished efforts made by the university’s faculty members to achieve the plan of the “Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research” emanating from the State Plan for Sustainable Development for the year (2030), which led to the inclusion of the university in this new Arab classification, and many international classifications, with Wishes and support of Dr. Muhammad Kamal Mustafa, Chairman of the University’s Board of Trustees, for further success in raising the university’s ranking in the future in that classification and other international classifications.

 

 In the same context, Dr. Essam Khamis, Advisor to the President of the Egyptian-Russian University for Academic Development, explained that the Arab Classification of Universities for the year (2023) is a comprehensive classification concerned with teaching and learning, the excellence of faculty members, developing their performance, scientific research, specifically distinguished and applied research, innovation, and international and service relations. .

 

 The advisor to the President of the Egyptian Russian University for Academic Development added that the classification was based on four main evaluation performance indicators, each of which has (9) sub-performance criteria: (1) the main performance indicator “teaching and learning at a rate of (30), (b) the main performance indicator.” “Scientific research” by (30%), (c) the main performance indicator “start-up, entrepreneurship and innovation” (20%), (d) the main performance indicator “international and local cooperation and community service” (20%)
