Under the auspices of Professor Dr. Sherif Fakhry, President of the University, and within the framework of the university’s effective role in society serving, and as an embodiment of the values of goodness and human responsibility, the Egyptian Russian University launched a blood donation campaign over three days on campus, under the slogan “I am an Egyptian donor…I am a Permanent donor”, in cooperation with the Ministry of Health and Population represented by the “National Blood Transfusion Services” in Zagazig. The campaign was held under the supervision of the Egyptian Pharmacy Students Federation EPSF at the Faculty of Pharmacy (EPSF-ERU). The university is keen to support and host these campaigns every semester. With the aim of spreading the culture of blood donation among students and university employees, and forming a broad base of donors; to provide safe and sufficient blood to save injured or sick people who need blood transfusion in hospitals.
