Under the patronage of Prof. Sherif Fakhry, ERU President, in an enthusiastic atmosphere filled with pride, the Egyptian Russian University celebrated the 49th anniversary of the glorious October victories. The celebration was attended by October War heroes; Pilot Major General / Ahmed Al-Mansoori, and Major General Dr. Moataz Al-Sharqawi, who talked about many stories of heroism and sacrifices of the brave Egyptian soldiers.
The celebration was also attended by Tarek El-Desouky (the famous singer), Engineer / Tarek Bilal, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Al-Shorouk and Badr Educational District, Prof. Essam Khamis, the University Vice President, the Deans of the faculties, and some faculty members and teaching assistants, in addition to students from all faculties of the university. The ceremony included many patriotic songs performed by the university chorus.
