Part of the fifth day activities of the second phase of the Startup Olympics at the Egyptian Russian University

In support of innovation and entrepreneurship among students, and to provide training opportunities and logistical support for teams participating in the Startup Olympics held at the Egyptian Russian University in cooperation with the Innovators Support Fund (ISF), the  fifth day began with a welcome note from the university’s coordinator at the Innovators Support Fund (ISF) to the attendees representing students track, researchers track, and students from the institutes hosted by the university.

 

Dr. Soha Samir (the university’s psychological counseling consultant) delivered a lecture on developing self-skills to prepare youth for the job market. She addressed skills that help young people qualify for the job market and excel in their professional lives, which included communication skills, teamwork skills, critical thinking and problem-solving, flexibility and adaptation, time management, personal skills, work ethics, and leadership skills.

 

In the second period, Dr. Mohamed Farouk (Director of the Entrepreneurship Club at the university) provided guidance and counseling in the field of entrepreneurship and business model preparation. The leader of each project presented their vision of the business model for the project submitted to the competition.

 

In the evening of the fifth day, remote meetings were held where students from the Faculty of Artificial Intelligence and the Faculty of Pharmacy continued technical guidance topics with faculty members.

 

The fifth day activities were attended by 60 male and female students and 4 researchers.
