Organizing the “Exploring Careers in Pharmacy with ERU Alumni” meeting at the Faculty of Pharmacy – Egyptian Russian University As part of the Egyptian Russian University’s efforts to support its students and graduates and provide them with the latest skills and knowledge needed for the labor market, and to enhance opportunities for interaction between students and graduates and open new horizons for their professional future, the Faculty of Pharmacy at the university recently organized an online course entitled “Exploring Careers in Pharmacy with ERU Alumni”, under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Ihab Fattouh, Dean of the Faculty, and Prof. Dr. Gamil Abdullah, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Student Affairs. During this event, graduates of the Faculty of Pharmacy at the Egyptian Russian University shared their experiences in vital areas related to the field of pharmacy. The course focused on three main aspects: 1- Entrepreneurship in Pharmacy: Pharmacist Mustafa Tarek, co-founder and CEO of Ascenda Pharma, highlighted how to start and manage successful pharmaceutical projects and how to achieve excellence in this field and provided training opportunities for those interested from the students/graduates present. The training program aims to enhance skills and prepare for the labor market. 2- Accessing the world of digital marketing efficiently: Pharmacist Mohamed Haitham Sakr, co-founder and CEO of La Viva Health, and founder of On Time Agency, presented effective strategies for entering the world of digital marketing and how to implement successful marketing campaigns that keep pace with technological developments. 3- Human Resources Management: Pharmacist Abdul Rahman Issa, responsible for attracting human resources at Coca-Cola-HBC, discussed how to effectively manage teams in pharmaceutical work environments and develop leadership skills. Thanks to all participants for their valuable contributions, and we thank our graduates for providing rich experiences that contribute to developing the future of their colleagues in the field.
