Schneider Electric Honors Enactus ERU Students Team
Embodying the university’s vision of empowering youth to create impactful solutions for a better future, supporting and motivating innovative youth, and fostering entrepreneurship among students, the Egyptian Russian University is proud to honor its outstanding Enactus ERU students team for their distinguished participation in the Schneider Electric Battery Innovation Challenge 2025. The ceremony was held at the competition’s closing ceremony at Schneider Electric’s headquarters.
This year saw the launch of the Enactus Battery and Energy Storage Innovation Challenge for the first time, with the participation of 14 university teams. The challenge involved inventing clean technological solutions based on innovative and environmentally friendly battery technologies.
The ERU students team presented their outstanding project, AgriVolt, which reflects the spirit of creativity, academic excellence, and environmental commitment of our students. It is a sustainable innovation, representing an environmentally friendly battery made from agricultural waste such as rice straw and corn cobs.
