The Egyptian-Russian University Announces Renewal of Pharmacy Faculty Accreditation from the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Education (NAQAAE)
Dr. Sherif Fakhry Mohamed Abdel-Nabi, President of the Egyptian-Russian University, announced that the Faculty of Pharmacy has received renewed institutional accreditation from the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Education (NAQAAE), by decision No. (254) of the Authority’s Board of Directors in September 2025. He noted that this important step was achieved with the full support of Dr. Mohamed Kamal El-Sayed Mostafa, Chairman of the University’s Board of Trustees.
The President of the Egyptian-Russian University emphasized that this accreditation contributes to the advancement of the university and its faculties in internationally recognized rankings, in addition to enhancing the faculty’s reputation and credibility among students and other academic and professional institutions both locally and internationally. It also instills confidence in the faculty’s graduates, particularly regarding their chances of further study or employment. He added that this step comes within the framework of the university administration’s ongoing efforts to achieve one of its most important strategic goals: attaining a distinguished position among universities locally, regionally, and internationally.
In the same context, Dr. Mohamed Ehab Fattouh, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy at the Egyptian-Russian University, explained that this accreditation is the culmination of the efforts of the university’s Quality Assurance Center, headed by Dr. Hesham Hamed, and the fruitful and continuous technical support from the university’s Quality Team and Quality Assurance Center. It also recognizes the efforts of the Quality Assurance Unit team, headed by Dr. Dalia El-Damasy and her deputies: Dr. Noha Mohamed Saeed, Dr. Ahmed Effat, and Dr. Karim Adel, with technical support from Dr. Salwa El-Meligy, faculty members, teaching assistants, administrative staff, and employees, in addition to the fruitful cooperation of the faculty’s students and graduates.
The Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy at the Egyptian-Russian University added that the faculty offers two academic programs; the Bachelor of Pharmacy (Pharm D) and the Bachelor of Pharmacy (Pharm D – Clinical Pharmacy). The faculty received institutional accreditation after a committee formed by the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Education (NAQAAE) verified the faculty’s compliance with standards for ensuring the quality of the educational process, teaching methods, and assessment in its academic programs. The committee also assessed the faculty’s institutional efficiency, confirmed the alignment of its educational outcomes with national academic reference standards for pharmaceutical education, and highlighted the excellence of the faculty’s scientific research and community engagement activities.
For his part, Dr. Hisham Fathy, Head of the Quality Assurance Center at the Egyptian-Russian University and Dean of the Faculty of Artificial Intelligence, affirmed that the outstanding performance of the faculty’s staff, the advanced infrastructure and technology of the Faculty of Pharmacy and the university’s facilities, and the significant efforts exerted by the university administration to implement the accreditation committee’s visit agenda and facilitate its inspection of the human, material, and technological infrastructure within the faculty and the university campus, left a positive impression during the site visit and contributed to obtaining institutional accreditation.
Dr. Jamil Abdullah, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy at the Egyptian-Russian University, expressed his gratitude to the faculty’s staff and the university’s Quality Assurance Center for this significant achievement, which comes after considerable effort. He explained that the most distinctive feature of the Faculty of Pharmacy is its application of the integrated teamwork approach; therefore, they succeeded in achieving this important result of institutional accreditation from the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Education (NAQAAE). …adding that this achievement is an incentive for all members of the college to continuously improve and to continue efforts to maintain the college’s distinguished level and to provide a stable and effective educational environment.
