The Egyptian-Russian University Handball team defeated Sohag University team in the match that was held today, as part of the activities of the Universities Handball Championship (Martyr Ibrahim Al-Rifai Championship for the 49th session), which is held on the stadiums of South Valley University in Qena. The university team ended the first half with a tie 15/15, before the difference widened in the second half for the Egyptian Russian University team to win 27/24 while continuing to lead the group. It is scheduled tomorrow for the university team to meet South Valley University team in the final match.
