The Egyptian Russian University hosts deputies from the House of Representatives and Senate in the seminar "Building the Leadership Character"

The “Egyptian Russian University” in Cairo hosted MP Ahmed Fathy, deputy of the Solidarity Committee in the House of Representatives, and Representative Mohamed El Sebaei, undersecretary for the Irrigation and Agriculture Committee in the Senate; To give a lecture on their personal experiences, in a symposium entitled “Student Activities as a Means of Acquiring Skills, Experiences and Building a Leadership Character”, organized by the University Administration in the Grand Theater on the campus, in the presence of Prof. Dr. Mohamed Ihab Fattouh, Dean of the College of Pharmacy, and Prof. Dr. Alaa Al-Batsh, Dean of the College of Engineering .

Prof. Dr. Sherif Fakhry Mohamed Abdel Nabi, President of the Egyptian Russian University, confirmed that many of the student activities and services provided to students during the university stage are considered a great opportunity to develop and develop talents, refine skills and build character. Adding that students who are looking for distinction and leadership in the future should invest their presence in the university in developing their skills by attending these positive seminars and lectures while increasing their academic achievement. His Excellency also stressed the importance of empowering and qualifying youth, and the role of training in this, as it appears now in all parts of the Egyptian state, so that they are able to lead in the future.

The President of the Egyptian Russian University in Cairo added that the university administration is keen to organize these seminars and hold useful and meaningful lectures presented by successful models in their field of work from public figures and specialists in various life sciences that lead society to further progress and prosperity. To provide students at the undergraduate level with many knowledge, experiences and skills necessary to prepare future leaders.

In the same context, Representative Ahmed Fathy, Deputy of Parliament’s Solidarity Committee, said during his speech at the symposium that the aim of holding these seminars is for students to listen to realistic successful experiences, and every student should know what talent he is good at and measure his ability to succeed continuously. And he must define his goal in the future so that he can reach it .. Pointing out that Egypt has pioneering experiences in training youth, such as the “Coordination of Youth Parties and Politicians and the National Academy for Youth Training”, which was able to provide models capable of leadership, and the largest evidence of these experiences is that The House of Representatives and the Senate currently has a large number of young people.

For his part, Representative Mohamed El-Sebaei, the undersecretary for the Irrigation and Agriculture Committee in the Senate, during his speech at the seminar, explained that student activities such as visits and field trips inside and outside the campus are working to refine students’ skills and enhance their social responsibility in the present, and in the long term make them qualified to Leadership positions in the future … revealing that student activities during the university study period allow students to equip non-academic skills necessary to support their abilities and prepare them for the job market; This supports the opportunities for them to compete for jobs and lead the institutions and companies in which they will work.

The two deputies also praised the professionalism of implementing and organizing the event and thanked the officials and staff of the university, stressing that young people are able to face all the challenges facing Egypt.

The symposium was organized by Dr. Hana Abdel Rahman, a pioneer in student activities at the Egyptian Russian University, and the seminar was attended by Eng. Tariq Bilal, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Educational Administration in Badr and Al Shorouk City, Dr. Fatma Shaltout, Head of the Construction Department at the Faculty of Engineering at the University, and Dr. Mona Moussa, a teacher in the Department of Business Administration at the University’s College of Management, Professional Technology and Computers, the pharmacist Markus Medhat, assistant lecturer at the College of Pharmacy, and a large number of faculty members and their assistants at the university and students from various colleges.
