Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Sherif Fakhry, President of the Egyptian Russian University, a group of students from the Construction Engineering Department at the Faculty of Engineering participated in the “Triple S” scientific competition, which was held at the Faculty of Engineering in El Matareya.
The “Greats team” from the second year of the Faculty of Engineering at the Egyptian Russian University has proposed an idea to solve the problem of traffic congestion and how the U-turn works in the form of a Cantilever Bridge to avoid any accidents.
The “Titans team” from the second year participated in the spaghetti competition, which is one of the largest triple S competitions, where a model of spaghetti noodles was made in the form of a truss to carry weights up to several times its weight.
The “Eagles team” from the Fourth year at the Faculty of Engineering at the Egyptian Russian University made a frame of ultra high strength concrete, which has achieved advanced positions with 9 impact load.

The university administration extends its congratulations and thanks to the university teams participating in the competition under the supervision of Prof. Fatma Shaltout, Head of the Department of Construction Engineering, and members of the faculty and the assistant staff, on the occasion of obtaining the sixth place out of 25 teams representing 15 universities.
