The play "Last Breath" by the Egyptian-Russian University Theater Group astonishes the audience and crowns the "Conscious Youth" campaign.
In a successful conclusion to the “Conscious Youth” awareness campaign, the Egyptian-Russian University hosted the impactful play “Last Breath,” which garnered great admiration and appreciation from the audience.
In this artistic work, the Egyptian-Russian University Theater Group skillfully addressed the issue of addiction through three different stories of three young people. The title carries a powerful connotation reflecting the struggle for survival, or the critical moments in the life of an addict.
The creative student group succeeded in delivering a profound and impactful awareness message using art as an effective tool. The audience praised:
* The sincere acting: which deeply conveyed the sense of loss, despair, and hope that accompanies confronting addiction.
* The masterful artistic direction: which effectively served the play’s message and helped to resonate with the audience.
* The awareness message: The audience affirmed that the artistic work served as a wake-up call and highlighted the importance of support, assistance, and awareness of the dangers of addiction.
This event assures the Egyptian-Russian University’s commitment to addressing social issues, supporting young student talent, and utilizing the arts as a key tool in building a conscious and resilient youth capable of facing challenges.
Many thanks to the students who participated in the theatrical performance: Mohamed Shawky, Reem Mahmoud, Mohamed Reda, Shahd Ashraf, Malak Farouk, Ahmed Osama, Mariam Atef, Virginia Yousry, Ahmed Abdelkareem, Amr Mostafa, and Nourhan Mohamed (music), and Jannat Tayeh (assistant director)… under the direction of the talented student director, Karim Reda, an engineering student, who directed the play and played a vital role. The team was supervised by Mr. Mostafa Ashour from the Student Welfare Department.
