Two gold medals for the Egyptian Russian University in the Universities Championship…..
Dr. Sherif Fakhry Mohamed Abdel Nabi, President of the Egyptian Russian University, announced that the university’s futsal football team won the first place and the gold medal, and the university’s athletics team player, Ahmed Mohamed Abu Al-Magd, who is enrolled in the Faculty of Engineering, also won first place and the gold medal for athletics in the field of athletics. (Spear), during the university’s participation in the activities of the Martyr Al-Rifai “51” tournament for Egyptian universities, within the private university sector, which was held on the “American University” stadiums, in the Fifth Settlement in New Cairo, pointing out that the university’s student delegation participated with the support of Dr. Mohamed Kamal Al-Sayed Mustafa, Chairman of the University’s Board of Trustees.
The President of the Egyptian Russian University explained that the university students won two gold medals after their superiority over their competitors from (23) private universities that participated in the tournament, adding that the university administration is keen to support all types of student activities inside and outside the university campus, in a way that contributes to fair competition with others. Strengthening social relations and strengthening ties between students of university colleges and various universities, and serving as an incentive for continued academic success.
For her part, Dr. Hanaa Abdel Rahman, leader of student activities at the Egyptian Russian University, confirmed that the students’ participation in these major sports tournaments comes within the framework of the university’s interest in student activities and contributing to students gaining experience, developing their talents, and absorbing their energies in accordance with their inclinations and desires. She praised the honorable appearance and distinguished level demonstrated by the university students, and the high spirit that characterized their performance throughout the days of the tournament until they were able to snatch those advanced positions. She also praising the effort made by the “Student Welfare and Activities Department” at the university, and their role in discovering and nurturing talented and distinguished students in all activities. In the same context, Captain Mohamed Abdullah Mostafa, Director of the Student Welfare and Activities Department at the Egyptian Russian University, stated that the competition in the various matches was strong, and that the good preparation of the university students qualified them to achieve advanced positions in the tournament, expressing his happiness with this great achievement and pointing out that the university administration hopes for all the students to excel in “scientific, research, and sports,” and it sends its warmest congratulations and best wishes to the students of the university who honored it, hoping to always stand on the podiums of coronation and honor in all “local, regional, and international” forums.
