With the presence of leading figures in higher education and the Engineers Syndicate… The Egyptian Russian University Celebrates the Graduation of the 15th class of the Faculty of Engineering
The Egyptian Russian University (ERU) celebrated the graduation of the 15th class of the Faculty of Engineering, who received their Bachelor’s degrees during a grand ceremony held in the main hall of the university theatre. The event was filled with pride, joy, and a sense of achievement, as the graduates, equipped with the tools of knowledge and science, stepped forward to join the fields of hard work and responsibility, continuing their duty toward their beloved homeland in its journey of development and progress. The ceremony was held under the patronage of Dr. Mohamed Kamal El-Sayed Mostafa, Chairman of the ERU Board of Trustees.
For his part, Dr. Sherif Fakhry Mohamed Abdel-Nabi, President of the Egyptian Russian University, expressed his happiness for witnessing the graduation of a new class of engineering students. He praised their commitment and hard work throughout their academic years and affirmed that the university is proud to graduate a generation of engineers who are scientifically and professionally qualified to serve their country and compete in both the local and international labor markets. He emphasized the importance of investing their academic knowledge across various engineering specializations to contribute to the ongoing development witnessed in all fields across the nation.
In the same cotext, Dr. Alaa Mohamed Al-Batsh, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, expressed his delight at celebrating the graduation of the 15th class. He reaffirmed that the faculty will always remain an open home for its graduates—providing access to research laboratories, specialized libraries, and training programs that help them enhance their abilities and efficiently integrate into the local and international job markets while keeping pace with modern scientific advancements.
The Dean extended heartfelt gratitude to the graduates’ parents for standing by their offspring every step of the road—enduring, sacrificing, supporting, and encouraging—until they reached this joyous moment, making them true partners in success. He also expressed deep appreciation for the distinguished faculty members and teaching assistants who exerted sincere effort in teaching with dedication and integrity, instilling values and ethics before knowledge, and serving as role models of discipline, responsibility, and commitment.
In his address, Eng. Mohamed Shalaby, Founder and Rapporteur of the Entrepreneurship, Small Industries, and Industry Committee at the Engineers Syndicate, urged the graduates to be the best ambassadors for their faculty in every workplace and engineering project. He advised them to uphold the honor of the profession in all their decisions, showing excellence, responsibility, and respect for the principles and ethics of engineering. He reminded them that their homeland, Egypt, expects much from them, as it builds its future through the hands of its conscious youth and opens wide horizons for science, research, and innovation. He encouraged them to be part of this honorable national journey and contribute with their knowledge and ethics to shaping a distinguished engineering sector worthy of this great nation.
In the same context, Dr. Faten Labib, Head of the Architecture Department at ERU’s Faculty of Engineering, stated that the celebration is a culmination of the efforts of students, faculty members, and the faculty administration in preparing a new generation of engineers capable of competing locally and globally—engineers who embody solid knowledge, skill, commitment, and loyalty to their homeland.
Also, Dr. Ibrahim Mossad, Head of the Mechatronics and Robotics Department, encouraged the graduates to remain dedicated and diligent, continuing to learn and stay updated in their field, and maintaining strong ties with their mother university. He added that the degree they received is one of the most important documents they will ever obtain, as it will open doors to success whether in Egypt or abroad.
Both Dr. Abdullah Al-Ramsisi and Dr. Mohamed Rabah delivered congratulatory speeches, expressing their best wishes to the graduates and their families on this special day and wishing them success in their professional careers.
