A Glimpse of the Creativity of Second-Year Students at the Faculty of Fine Arts – Egyptian Russian University
In a joyful artistic atmosphere, and under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Mohamed Orabi, Dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts, and in the presence of Prof. Dr. Ezz El-Din Abdel Aziz, Dean of the Faculty of Applied Arts, and Prof. Dr. Khaled Tawfik, Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry, as well as many faculty members and staff of the university, second-year students of the Environmental Design Department at the Faculty of Fine Arts showcased their projects.
The presentations included numerous research outputs based on collaborative group methodologies as well as individual work, employing skills in creative and critical thinking and clear communication with aesthetic issues in the surrounding community environment and field research on one of the topics presented in the courses that intersect with the main disciplines and their artistic applications in society.
The students excelled in presenting their projects, with a focus on creative processes, demonstrating their distinction in knowledge and skills in various media and tools of artistic expression within the context of contemporary concepts and theories in art and design.
These projects were supervised by the teaching team of the Free Studies course: Assistant Professor Dr. Heba Hamdi, Assistant Professor of Interior Architecture; Assistant Professor Dr. Amr Abdel Aty, Assistant Professor of Scenography; Teaching Assistant Mohamed Abdel Aziz from the Environmental Design Department; and Assistant Nadim Orabi from the Visual Arts Department.
The Creative Interaction course was supervised by Dr. Shaimaa Baghdadi, Visual Communication Instructor; Teaching Assistant Yomna Sherif from the Visual Arts Department; and Teaching Assistant Mahmoud Roshdy from the Visual Arts Department.
