The Egyptian Russian University holds a workshop on the quality of academic education. (Photos)

Dr. Sherif Fakhry Mohamed Abdel Nabi, President of the Egyptian Russian University, announced that, to enhance cooperation and integration between the university and state institutions, a workshop was held on “Spreading the Culture of Quality Education.” It was presented by a high-level delegation from the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Education (NAQAAE), in the presence of Dr. Hesham Abdel Nasser, Advisor to the President of the Authority for Political Communication and Executive Director of the New Beginning Initiative for Quality Assurance of Learning. He noted that this workshop is held within the framework of the university administration’s strategy to raise student awareness of the importance of achieving quality education standards and preparing them to face future challenges. This is supported by Dr. Mohamed Kamal El-Sayed Mustafa, Chairman of the University’s Board of Trustees.

The President of the Egyptian-Russian University praised the fruitful and beneficial training workshop for all attendees, including the Center’s deputies, unit directors, and students from various faculties. He thanked the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Education for this constructive initiative, emphasizing its effective role in supporting development and growth in educational institutions.

In the same context, Dr. Hesham Fathy, Dean of the Faculty of Artificial Intelligence and Head of the Quality Assurance Center at the Egyptian-Russian University, explained that the workshop falls within the framework of the university’s commitment to the quality of the educational process by spreading the culture of quality education among all stakeholders, especially our students, who are the focus of the education procces, and through them, the education quality system succeeds.

The Dean of the College of Artificial Intelligence and Head of the Quality Assurance Unit at the Egyptian-Russian University added that these events, with student participation, reflect various quality practices and prepare distinguished graduates who compete in the labor market, whether local, regional, or international. He extended his thanks to Professor Ikram Mohamed Agha, Secretary-General of the University, the advisors to the President of the University, and the deans of the faculties for attending the workshop, as well as the Center’s deputies, unit directors, and the Center and unit secretariats for their participation in organizing this workshop.

For his part, Dr. Hesham Abdel Nasser, Advisor to the President of the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Education for Political Communication, praised the capabilities of the Egyptian-Russian University and its advanced equipment, which rivals major universities in the Arab world, Europe, and developed countries. He extended his thanks to everyone who contributed to the construction and development of this great institution, its infrastructure, technology, advanced laboratories and workshops, its distinguished faculty members, and outstanding students who actively participate in evaluating and improving their academic programs and their outcomes.

The workshop was attended by university leaders including: Dr. Essam Khamis, Advisor to the University President for Academic Development; Dr. Alaa Mohamed El-Batsh, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering; Dr. Khaled Tawfik, Dean of the Faculty of Oral and Dental Medicine; Dr. Tahera El-Sayed Hamieh, Dean of the Faculty of Management, Economics, and Business Technology; Dr. Makarem El-Ghamry, Dean of the Faculty of Languages and Technical Languages; Dr. Gamil Abdullah, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy; and Dr. Said Hassan, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Artificial Intelligence. From the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Education, the workshop was attended by: Dr. Hussein Khater, Director of the Accreditation Department and Director of the Implementation Plan for Training Ms. Lobna Hussein, Director of the Public Relations Department; Ms. Siham Saber, Director of the Office of the Advisor to the President of the Authority for Political Communication; and Mr. Mohamed El-Leithy, Training Coordinator.
