Part of the honoring ceremony for students from the Russian Federation at the conclusion of their training program at the Egyptian Russian University.

As part of the student exchange agreements concluded between the Egyptian Russian University and several Russian universities, and under the patronage of Professor Dr. Sherif Fakhry, President of the University, a student delegation from the Peoples’ Friendship University and the Moscow University for Humanities was received. The delegation was part of a student training program on the use of the Arabic language and learning about historical sites in Cairo and its surroundings, as well as Egyptian history, culture, and traditions. The program is offered by the university to students from Russian universities with which it has signed cooperation agreements, with the aim of strengthening joint cultural and scientific relations.

A full month-long program was prepared, including numerous lectures at the university, aimed at practicing the Arabic language, achieving rapprochement, integration, and interaction with Egyptian society, and enriching their experience. The program also included visits to Egypt’s most important cultural, tourist, and recreational sites and landmarks. The program was supervised by Professor Mohamed Saber, Assistant Professor of Russian Language, and Professor Roaa Mohamed Salman, Teaching Assistant in the Russian Language Department at the Faculty of Languages.

At the conclusion of the training program, the students were warmly welcomed by Professor Dr. Makarem El-Ghamry, Dean of the Faculty of Languages, who presented them with certificates of completion of their training at the university and some commemorative gifts. The students praised the warm welcome, their integration and interaction with the Russian Egyptian University community and Egyptian society, and expressed their hope of returning to Egypt once more.
