Under the patronage of the President of the Republic... Eight students from the Egyptian-Russian University advance to the finals of the "Creativity Festival"... Names revealed
Dr. Sherif Fakhry Mohamed Abdel-Nabi, President of the Egyptian-Russian University, announced that, as part of the university’s comprehensive support for talented students and its encouragement of their participation in local and national competitions, 27 students from various faculties participated in the 14th season (2026) of the “Creativity Festival,” held under the patronage of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and organized by the Ministry of Youth and Sports, headed by Minister Dr. Ashraf Sobhy. He noted that eight students from the university advanced to the festival’s finals, reflecting the university’s prominent position and leading role in student activities, and its provision of a stimulating educational environment that fosters innovation, experimentation, and active participation in various forums. This was made possible with the support of Dr. Mohamed Kamal Mostafa, Chairman of the University’s Board of Trustees.
The President of the Egyptian-Russian University explained that the participation of creative students from the university’s faculties in these major competitions aligns with the university’s vision of supporting creativity and nurturing young talent. The university aims to refine students’ skills and prepare them for the labor market through direct interaction and practical application in academic competitions at the local, regional, and international levels. His Excellency added that the advancement of this number of university students to compete at the level of Egyptian universities is a culmination of the university’s efforts in student activities, which represent a fundamental pillar in building students’ character and enhancing their intellectual and creative abilities, as well as ensuring their excellent preparation for participation in such events. He congratulated the advancing students and wished them success and honorable results in the finals.

– Mahmoud Mohamed – Faculty of Oral and Dental Medicine – in the field of “Short Story”;
– Amr Yasser – Faculty of Artificial Intelligence – in the field of “Scientific Innovations”;
– Afnan Fathy – Faculty of Languages – in the field of “Short Films”;
– Youssef Essam – Faculty of Management, Economics, and Business Technology – in the field of “Ideal Student”;
– Kyrillos Ragai – Faculty of Fine Arts – in the field of “Photography and Color Painting”;
– Karen Halim – Faculty of Fine Arts – in the field of “Black and White Drawing, Graphics, and Printmaking”;
– Mohamed Mahmoud – Faculty of Fine Arts – in the field of “Black and White Drawing, Graphics, and Printmaking”;
– Fares Akram – Faculty of Fine Arts – in the field of “Sculpture”.
For his part, Dr. Mohamed Orabi, Dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts at the Egyptian-Russian University, extended his heartfelt congratulations to the talented students of the faculty who qualified for the finals of the “Creativity Festival.” He emphasized that this achievement is a culmination of the academic, artistic, and educational role that the Faculty of Fine Arts strives to play in discovering and refining the talents of its students, and supporting them both theoretically and practically.
Dr. Orabi affirmed the faculty administration’s continued support for its talented students and its commitment to assisting them in various artistic competitions and events. He wished the students continued success and excellence in the final stage, which will be held at the Abu Qir Youth town in Alexandria Governorate from January 26th to 28th, 2026, to further their creative journey and raise the rank of the Egyptian-Russian University in all artistic forums.
