Dr. Sherif Fakhry Mohamed Abdel-Nabi, President of the Egyptian-Russian University, announced that the Consulting Center for Product Design and Production Development in the fields of applied arts at the university has completed the project to design, execute, and install specialized artworks made of stained, painted, and lead-drawn glass, titled “Art Painting of Stained Glass.” He noted that the project was installed in four openings in the reception hall of the Applied Arts Designers Syndicate building, under the patronage of Dr. Mohamed Kamal Mustafa, Chairman of the University’s Board of Trustees.

In the same context, Dr. Ezz El-Din Abdel Aziz Hassan, Dean of the Faculty of Applied Arts at the Egyptian-Russian University, explained that the total surface area of ​​the artworks installed inside the Applied Arts Designers Syndicate building, in the four openings, is approximately 24 square meters. He noted that the design, execution, and installation of the artworks took ten months to complete, and the project was carried out in cooperation with Dr. Helmy El-Shanawany, Head of the Applied Arts Designers Syndicate, and Dr. Wagih Khedr, Secretary-General of the Syndicate.

The Dean added that the artworks were designed and executed using stained glass and lead-based artwork (“Art Painting of Stained Glass”). He revealed that the design, execution, and installation of the project were carried out under the full supervision of the Faculty of Applied Arts at the university, and that a number of faculty members, teaching assistants, and technicians from the glass department, in addition to other college workers, participated in the execution
