Under the auspices of Professor Dr. Sherif Fakhry, President of the Egyptian Russian University (ERU), and in cooperation with “InnoDev”, the university organized an introductory seminar for the “SheEmpower” project. This event aligns with national efforts to empower women economically and promote their presence in leadership positions.
The project is a strategic initiative funded by the European Union’s “INTERREG NEXT MED” program. It aims to refine women’s entrepreneurial and digital skills, support startups, and facilitate their access to international markets. During the seminar, experts from InnoDev— Dr. Saber Hassan and Ms. Jana Ahmed—outlined the project’s main tracks, which include:
* Training Track: Focused on capacity building in entrepreneurship and e-commerce.
* Mentorship Track: Featuring career guidance and the “SheEmpower MED e-Store” platform for digital marketing.
The session went beyond project introductions, as InnoDev also presented real employment opportunities for the university’s distinguished female graduates.
