Innovative Graduation Projects for Mechatronics and Robotics Engineering Students at the Egyptian Russian University

Under the auspices of Professor Dr. Sherif Fakhry, President of the University, Professor Dr. Alaa Al-Batsh, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, and Dr. Ibrahim Massaad, Head of the Department of Mechatronics and Robotics Engineering, a total of 13 graduation projects were discussed by the department’s students. These projects featured innovative ideas in various industrial and service applications that are in demand locally and globally.

The students covered design and manufacturing aspects, material selection, and the design of electronic circuits.

The projects included innovations in vital fields such as “autonomous vehicles,” “hybrid electric vehicles,” and renewable energy systems like “integrated power generation from wind and solar energy” and “green hydrogen production.” Additionally, the projects offered smart agricultural solutions through “IoT-based smart irrigation systems,” as well as industrial robotics including “metal detection and collection robots” and “plastic thermoforming machines.”

The discussion committees praised the students’ outstanding level of work. These projects provide them with deep practical experience and prepare them to develop technological solutions that serve industry, agriculture, and energy sectors.

Best wishes for continued excellence to all university students.
