In connection with the theme of community participation emanating from the vision and mission of the university, the Egyptian Russian University adopts an ambitious program to discover and care for talented children in its community environment, and develop their skills through a group of initiatives and events targeting children. In one of these events and under the patronage of Professor Dr. Sherif Fakhry, President of the University and Professor Dr. Alaa Al-Batsh, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, the activities of the practical electronics course for children were opened and started.
The electronics course for children aims to hone the child’s creative thinking, innovation and cooperative teamwork skills, and to become familiar with a group of concepts such as: electrical circuits, wires, digital panels, cells, etc. Dr. Tamer Saleh, the lecturer in the Communications Department and director of the Huawei Academy at the university, who is responsible for The course conducted the opening lecture and introducing it. Then he took the children to the practical training headquarters, where they were divided into groups with the help of engineer Rehab Hassan, engineer Iman Al-Shami, and a number of diligent organization students: Basma Atef Farid – Hajar Muhammad Al-Khami – Imad Hussein Abdel Dayem – Mayar Salah Kamal. -Abdul Rahman Asaad Muhammad – Youssef Osama Mahmoud – Fatima Ahmed Muhammad – Malak Mahmoud Hassanein – Adham Amin Metwally – Rawan Badir Al-Sayed – Fatima Khaled Al-Sayed – Muhammad Muhammad Al-Nadi – Muhammad Ashraf Ibrahim – Abdul Rahman Ali Muhammad – Habiba Muhammad Nasr Al-Din – Renad Wael Taha – Habiba Ayman Hosni – Jana Muhammad Azab. It is worth noting that the course was made available to children from 8 to 15 years old.
Those outside the university and those interested in the field of electronics were able to attend via Zoom. The activities will continue on Tuesdays of every week from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., for 6 consecutive weeks.
