Professor Dr. Sherif Fakhry, President of the Egyptian Russian University (ERU), received a certificate of ranking of the ERU in the “Arab Ranking of Universities” during the ceremony of delivering the certificates of the ‘Arab Ranking of Universities – 2023’ on February 22, 2024. The ranking was issued by the General Secretariat of the Arab League, the Arab League Educational, Cultural and Scientific Organization (ALECSO), the Federation of Arab Universities, and the Union of Arab Scientific Research Councils.
The ceremony was attended by Prof. Dr. Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Prof. Dr. Amr Salama, Secretary General of the Federation of Arab Universities, Ambassador / Dr. Haifaa Abu-Ghazalah, Assistant Secretary General of the Arab League, Prof. Dr. Mohamed Kamal, Director of the Institute of Arab Research and Studies in Cairo and representative of the Arab League Educational, Cultural and Scientific Organization (ALECSO), Prof. Dr. Abd-el-Mageed Ben Emara, Secretary General of the Union of Arab Scientific Research Councils, and Prof. Dr. Aly Shams-el-Deen, President of the International Forum for Higher Education and Training (EDUGATE), in addition to a group of Arab university presidents.
