Prepared and supervised by the faculty members and the assisting staff at the Department of Pharmaceutics and Pharmaceutical Technology at the Faculty of Pharmacy at the Egyptian Russian University, the students of the fourth year visited the factory of ATCO Pharma Company for Pharmaceutical and Veterinary Industries in the industrial zone of Quesna, where they were welcomed by the company’s working members at the beginning of the visit.. Then they received An introductory lecture on all the different sections of the factory, and the stages of manufacturing pharmaceutical forms .. Then the students toured to see the five production lines in the factory (capsules, powders, tablets, liquids, human and veterinary effervescents)…. Then the product quality control unit through the performance of multiple tests for the final pharmaceutical formulas that were carried out. They saw the latest technology of production lines and drug manufacturing.. The students, expressed the maximum benefit from this visit, which enabled them to benefit from and practical application of what they studied in the courses of the Department of Pharmaceutics and Pharmaceutical Technology..
