The Faculty of Management at the Egyptian-Russian University reveals its programs that qualify students for the job market.. with pictures
Dr. Tahera Elsayed Hamia, Dean of the Faculty of Management, Economics and Business Technology at the Egyptian-Russian University (ERU), announced that the faculty has distinguished programs in “Administrative, Economic, Financial, and Political Sciences and Business Technology” that meet the needs of the local, regional, and international job market. She pointed out that these programs are taught under the patronage of Dr. Sherif Fakhry Mohamed Abdel Nabi, President of the University, and with the full support of Dr. Mohamed Kamal Elsayed Mustafa, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the University.
The Dean of the Faculty of Management, Economics and Business Technology at the ERU added that the study in the faculty adopts the credit hours system, based on four levels, and the faculty currently grants bachelor’s degrees in the following disciplines:
1- Bachelor of Business Administration, in four specializations: “Management, Marketing, Human Resources Management, and Finance”.
- Bachelor of Accounting.
- Bachelor of Economics.
- Bachelor of Political Sciences.
- Bachelor of Business Technology, in two specializations:
- Business Analysis Science.
- Management Information Systems.
Dr. Tahera also pointed out that the faculty is now receiving new students for the next academic year (2022/2023) to learn about its new programs, namely:
– Digital Political Sciences Program.
– Banking and FinTech Program.
– Marketing Intelligence Program.
– Supply Chain Program.
The Dean of the Faculty of Management, Economics and Business Technology further stated that the faculty’s modern programs provide students with theoretical and applied knowledge to develop practical and marketable skills that will help them pursue a number of career paths in:
- Diplomatic bodies, such as “embassies and consulates”.
- International organizations.
- National and international non-governmental organizations.
- Media.
- Financial institutions, such as “banks, capital markets, stock market companies”.
- Think tanks and research institutes.
- Government offices.
- Civil service.
- Data analytics and business intelligence centers.
- Support and decision-making centers.
- Big data analysis centers.
Dr. Tahera explained that the goal of studying in the various programs of the faculty is to encourage students to research and gain scientific experience, study seriously, and improve their knowledge and skills. All this is done under the process of developing ideas and behaviors that will help develop and advance their future career.
The Dean of the Faculty of Management, Economics and Business Technology also spoke about the fact that the Department of Business Technology at the faculty offers programs that include more than one scientific specialization and integrates the concepts and techniques of information technology and data analysis in the field of business study. These programs provide an academic and technical basis for individuals who are preparing for professional and health jobs using management skills and computer applications. She explained that the graduates of this department are prepared to adapt to the continuous change that requires technological development.
Dr. Tahera alluded that the science of business analysis meets the growing demand of skillful students, to form a correct vision through data and use it in making strategic business decisions. In addition, students of this program acquire a set of practical data analysis skills, including understanding data patterns, applying analytical frameworks, building predictive models, analyzing social networks, and discovering unclear relationships in data. Students will also learn how to display data using modern visualization techniques and become familiar with the latest data analysis programs.
The Dean of the Faculty of Management, Economics and Business Technology noted that the program prepares graduates for jobs that include: “data analysis, business intelligence, decision-making models, and big data analytics”. In general, graduates are prepared to work as business analysts, but they can also work as system analysts, project managers, application programmers, consultants, application designers, and IT support staff in both local and multinational companies.
