With participation of major technology companies and institutions, Egyptian Russian University’s Faculty of Artificial Intelligence organizes 2026 Job Fair ... photos

Dr. Sherif Fakhry Mohamed Abd-el-Naby, President of the Egyptian Russian University (ERU), announced that the university’s Faculty of Artificial Intelligence organized a job fair for the academic year 2025–2026. This initiative goes in line with with the university’s ongoing commitment to developing the quality of higher education, strengthening professional partnerships, and aligning learning outcomes with the demands of local, regional, and international labor markets. The event was held with the support of Dr. Mohamed Kamal Al-Sayed Mostafa, Chairman of the university’s Board of Trustees, which reflects the university’s dedication to bridging the gap between academic knowledge and professional practice, equipping students with future skills, opening avenues for training and direct employment for graduates at leading institutions and companies, and contributing to the development of a qualified workforce that supports the digital economy.

The President of the ERU pinpointed that the job fair featured the participation of a distinguished group of representatives from companies, professional institutions, and training/recruitment agencies. The event was attended by university and faculty leadership, academic and supporting staff, as well as students and alumni. He added that organizing the fair reflects the commitment of both the University and the Faculty of Artificial Intelligence to reinforcing effective communication between students, alumni, and the labor market; supporting training and employment opportunities; and bridging the gap between university education and practical applications, particularly in areas such as artificial intelligence, data science, cybersecurity, software engineering, and digital transformation.

In the same context, Dr. Hesham Fathy, Dean of the Faculty of Artificial Intelligence at the ERU, stated that the fair witnessed the participation of various specialized companies and institutions, including Telecom Egypt, Microsoft, the National Telecom Regulatory Authority (NTRA), Sercodev Solutions Co., Syselyano Co., and the Saudi German Hospital, among others specializing in technical and technological fields. He highlighted that the faculty administration supports specialized events that foster integration between university education and the labor market, while consolidating effective partnerships with professional institutions, as well as training/recruitment bodies.

The Dean of the Faculty of Artificial Intelligence at the ERU added that the Faculty’s vision aims to produce distinguished graduates who are capable of competing at local and regional levels, and who are equipped with future skills in areas such as artificial intelligence, data science, cybersecurity, and digital transformation. This initiative also reflects the University’s commitment to aligning its educational outcomes with the needs of society and the production and service sectors, while reinforcing innovation and entrepreneurship, which contributes to community service and advancing sustainable development efforts.

Dr. Hesham Fathy pointed out that the faculty’s vision supports building sustainable bridges of cooperation with the labor market and consolidating a stimulating educational and practical environment, which enables students and graduates to showcase their academic and professional capacities through outstanding applied projects that address real-world issues and offer creative solutions. Such support reflects the Faculty’s commitment to expanding opportunities for training, employment, and technical entrepreneurship, while reinforcing direct interaction among students, graduates, and representatives from companies and institutions. These efforts conform with the Faculty’s focus on applied education, link academic programs to the needs of society and the labor market, and contribute to graduating qualified professionals who are capable of keeping pace with rapid advancements in the areas of artificial intelligence and modern digital technologies.

In the same vein, Dr. Said Hassan Ibrahim, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs at the ERU’s Faculty of Artificial Intelligence, stated that the fair is not merely a celebratory event or an introductory meeting; but it serves as a genuine platform for integrating education with practical application, academic knowledge with professional experience, and the ambitions of students and graduates with the needs of employers and institutions. He asserted that the university’s role is no longer confined to awarding degrees; rather, it has assumed the responsibility of preparing competitive graduates who possess the necessary knowledge, skills, and professional values, and who can effectively contribute to building a future that is more developed and innovative.

The Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs at the Faculty of Artificial Intelligence stated that the faculty belongs to a field that lies at the heart of contemporary global transformations. Artificial Intelligence is no longer a limited specialization or a theoretical discipline, but it is now integral to sectors such as medicine, industry, education, agriculture, cybersecurity, digital transformation, entrepreneurship, data management, and smart services. He added that, in light of this development, the faculty is keen to ensure that its graduates possess the capacity to engage in analytical thinking, problem-solving, teamwork, effective communication, and ongoing learning, while also being able to employ AI tools responsibly and ethically to serve humanity and society.

Dr. Said Hassan Ibrahim extended his thanks and appreciation to the business owners, company representatives, and recruitment agencies for their attendance and active participation. He affirmed that their presence reflects a genuine belief in the importance of integration between educational institutions and the labor market, highlighting that preparing qualified, competitive graduates can only be accomplished through a serious, sustainable partnership involving the university, the community, and the production and service sectors. He added that the fair enables students and graduates to acquire direct insight regarding labor market needs, required skills, and opportunities for training and employment, while also providing the faculty with a valuable opportunity to hear the views and feedback of market representatives concerning the graduates’ level, as well as the fields and specializations that should be reinforced in the forthcoming period.

It is worth mentioning that the fair showcased 34 projects by final-year students, collectively representing modern trends in application fields such as artificial intelligence, intelligent information systems, smart services and decision support, industry and predictive analytics, cybersecurity, digital transformation, and healthcare and medicine. Through these projects, students presented outstanding practical models showing their capacity to leverage artificial intelligence technologies to solve real-world problems and serve various sectors.

The fair also included three specialized workshops, which were held at the university theater, led by a group of experts and industry leaders. These workshops focused on preparing students and graduates for the labor market, developing their professional and technical skills, as well as supporting their employment opportunities, as follows:

The first workshop, titled “Career: 7 Never-Dos & Skills to Get Hired,” was presented by Engineer/ Abid Al-Nahhas, CE&S Site Leader at Microsoft Egypt and Senior Operations Manager. The session addressed key career mistakes to be avoided and the essential skills employers seek, aiming to support employment opportunities and prepare students and graduates to build successful careers.

The second workshop, titled “SGH Analytics Journey,” was presented by Dr. Mustafa Ghaloush, Executive Director of Cairo Office at The Saudi German Hospital (SGH) -Egypt. It presented an inspiring journey into the world of data analytics and analytical intelligence, highlighting how to build a successful career in the field and the role of data analytics in supporting decision-making and developing institutional performance.

The third workshop, titled “Software Development Workshop,” was presented by Engineer/ Ashraf Adel, a Software Developer at Sercodev Solutions. It focused on the latest practices and technologies in software development, labor market requirements for developers, and the importance of possessing practical skills in software construction, working within development teams, and coping with modern tools and technologies.

On their part, representatives of the participating companies and institutions asserted the importance of continued cooperation with the faculty in areas such as practical training, sponsorship of graduation projects, organization of specialized workshops, as well as the provision of training and employment opportunities for distinguished students and graduates. This cooperation contributes to developing a workforce that is capable of keeping pace with rapid advancements in the fields of artificial intelligence and digital transformation. They added that the fair offered a valuable opportunity for students and graduates to engage directly with labor market representatives, gain insight into required skills, career paths, training opportunities, and the professional challenges awaiting them after graduation, as well as to showcase their ideas and projects to potential employers and specialized companies.

At the conclusion of the event, the importance of continuing such forums was emphasized, since they serve as effective mechanisms for enhancing educational quality, aligning academic programs with the labor market, and strengthening institutional partnerships between the faculty and companies. These forums also open broader horizons for students and graduates in the areas of training, employment, entrepreneurship, and innovation. The 2026 Job Fair at the Faculty of Artificial Intelligence, Egyptian Russian University, reflects the faculty’s commitment to preparing outstanding, competitive graduates who are scientifically, skillfully, and ethically qualified to contribute to building a more advanced digital future, which conforms with the university’s mission of serving the community and supporting sustainable development.
