With the participation of students of Arab countries, the Egyptian Russian University hosts delegations of Arab embassies in the “Dialogue of Cultures through Egyptian Vision”. Watch the video

Prof. Dr. Sherif Fakhry Mohamed Abd El- Nabi, president of the Egyptian Russian University, announced that the university campus hosted some officials and leaders of the sisterly Arab embassies within the activities of the “Dialogue of Cultures through Egyptian Vision” Forum, which was held to strengthen the ties between Arab students and their Egyptian brothers in their second country. Today’s activities included an exhibition of handicrafts, cultural and artistic performances, and the most famous foods of Arab countries. This festival is backed by the directions and support of Dr. Mohamed Kamal El- Sayed, Head of the Board of Directors of the university.
The president of the Egyptian Russian University welcomed the guests and reviewed with them the number of faculties inside the university campus and the availability of modern and spacious buildings as well as a developed educational environment that meets the requirements of academic accreditation, and modern study programs that keep pace with educational technology and meet the requirements of the labor market. In addition to the university’s development and societal role in Badr City, as it is the first university established in the city. Dr. Sherif also reviewed the academic and student activities offered to university students, stressing the university’s support for the various sports, cultural, artistic, and literary activities of the students’ Union because of their impact on building students’ personality and investing their energies. He pointed out that among the most prominent attendees from the sister Arab embassies was Dr. Hassan Jiyad, the Cultural Attaché at the Embassy of State of Iraq in Egypt, and Dr. Iyad Abu Al- Hunud, the academic and research affairs official at the Embassy of State of Palestine, on behalf of the Cultural Chancellor and the embassy.
In the same context, prof. Dr. Khaled Tawfik, Dean of the Faculty of Oral and Dental Medicine at the Egyptian Russian University, presented the college’s objectives in preparing a different generation of graduates “ dentists”, able to compete in the “Egyptian and International” labor market through distinguished study programs based on digital technology, in the field of oral and dental medicine which serves “Egypt’s Vision 2030.” Noting that the college includes clinics for oral and dental medicine and provides all services, examinations and treatment free of charge to the public. It includes all specializations : oral and jaw surgery, gum disease treatment, mobile and fixed implants، tartar cleaning, teeth whitening, extractions, dental fillings, complete dentures, anti decay and its treatment.
For his part, Prof. Dr. Alaa El- Batsh, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering at the Egyptian Russian University, explained during his speech at the forum that among the programs of the Faculty of Engineering are”Architecture Engineering, Communications Engineering, Mechatronics and Robotics Engineering, and Construction Engineering.” Noting that the college includes advanced laboratories: Satellite laboratory, which was inaugurated in cooperation with the Egyptian Space Agency, in addition to the presence of an academy in cooperation with “Huawei International Company”, pioneer in the field of fifth generation communications.
The activities of the forum until its completion in its honorable and final form were supervised by Prof. Dr. Hanaa Abd El- Rahman, the leader of student activities at the university and Mrs. Ikram Mohamed Abd El- Hamid, Secretary General of the university.
Dr. Mostafa Hassan, the International Student Official at the university asserted that among the objectives of the forum: “Introducing the cultures and traditions of some Arab countries, strengthening ties and integrating international students with their Egyptian colleagues within the university community, and motivating international students to participate in student activities.” He revealed that the forum included panel discussions on the heritage of each Arab country and a tour for the guests to learn about the university’s many distinguished faculties.
For their part, the sisterly” delegations of Arab embassies “ in Egypt expressed their happiness to be on the campus of the Egyptian Russian University, and praised the level of infrastructure and technology for the facilities of colleges, and academic cadres of faculty members, the assistant staff, and the distinguished administration in providing educational services and student activities at the highest level and well- organized reception.
The activities of the Arab Students’ Day Forum at the university were attended by Dr. Tahra El-Sayed Hamiyah, Dean of the College of Administration, Professional Technology, and Computers at the university. Dr. Hisham El- Hawarry, Vice Dean of the College of Oral and Dental Medicine for Student Affairs at the university, Dr. Omaima El-Gindi, Head of the Pharmacognosy Department at the College of Pharmacy and Dr. Laila Abd El-Aziz, Head of the Pharmaceutical and Toxicology Department at the College of Pharmacy.
