Students from the Faculty of Fine Arts at the Egyptian Russian University participated in the Ministry of Culture's activities celebrating the international writer Naguib Mahfouz.
part of its commitment to supporting cultural and artistic activities that contribute to strengthening Egyptian identity and engaging with its literary and intellectual icons, and under the patronage of Professor Dr. Sherif Fakhry, President of the University, Professor Dr. Mohamed Orabi, Dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts, and Professor Dr. Walid Qanoush, Head of the PlasticArts Sector, faculty members and students from the Faculty of Fine Arts at the Egyptian Russian University participated in the artistic activities held at the Mohamed Mahmoud Khalil Museum and its campus, celebrating the international writer Naguib Mahfouz.
Second- and third-year students from the Department of Visual Arts participated in the activities, which were organized and supervised by artists Ahmed Eid and Nadim Orabi. The activities included an engraving and graphic printing workshop, a collage workshop using Naguib Mahfouz’s book covers and film posters, and a portrait of Naguib Mahfouz.
The students expressed their happiness and benefited greatly from this participation, thanking the college administration for providing them with the opportunity to gain this experience and foster a spirit of intimacy and cooperation among them.
