The Faculty of Pharmacy

For the Faculty of Pharmacy to be a national leader and distinguished regionally and internationally in the field of pharmacy in order to achieve Egypt’s Vision 2030.

The Faculty of Pharmacy at the Egyptian Russian University is committed to providing advanced educational programs to prepare graduates possessed the values and ethics of the pharmacy profession and able to compete, keep up with developments in the labor market, and participate in the development of the pharmaceutical and health care industry. The faculty also aims to prepare distinguished scientific and applied research and for the faculty to contribute to community service and environmental development within the framework of quality systems, values and professional ethics in order to achieve the goals of sustainable development, relying in achieving its mission on highly qualified human expertise.

Goals and strategic objectives

The First goal is to enhance the competitive abilities and skills of graduates in the job market.
The objectives:

  • Continuous development of the faculty's infrastructure and digital resources.
  • Continuous development of programs and curricula.
  • Providing a stimulating and supportive educational environment for students.
  • Support and effective communication with graduates.

Developing human capital and supporting excellence and innovation.
The objectives:

  • Developing the capabilities of the human resources of faculty members and the supporting staff at the faculty.
  • Focusing on the electronic transformation of human resources systems.

Supporting the system of applied scientific research.
The objectives:

  • Aligning the research plan with the requirements of sustainable development and Egypt's Vision 2030.
  • Encouraging scientific activity and innovation.
  • Establishing partnerships between the faculty and pharmaceutical market institutions as well as scientific and research organizations.
  • Expanding graduate programs.

Strengthening community partnerships and developing the environment to achieve sustainable development.
The objectives:

  • Continuity in the implementation of annual plans for community service and environmental development activities.
  • Activating the role of community stakeholders in faculty activities.
  • Working towards achieving Egypt's Vision 2030 and enhancing the goals of sustainable development.
  • Support and encourage the diversification of self-funding sources for the faculty.

Increasing the effectiveness of quality management and excellence systems.
The objectives:

  • Evaluation of outstanding institutional performance according to quality standards.
  • Expanding quality practices that achieve excellence for the faculty.

The Governing Values

When updating the strategic goals and objectives, the Faculty of Pharmacy has adopted the University’s guiding values, which shape the behavior of its human capital and enable them to confront anticipated challenges and threats. These values include:

Responsible Freedom No development or progress can be achieved without freedom, nor can knowledge be produced without a supportive environment. This environment must uphold the academic freedom of students, faculty, and staff, while adhering to legal obligations and demonstrating social and ethical responsibility.
Independence The Faculty strives to eliminate all external influences or pressures that might hinder its scientific and intellectual journey toward achieving its strategic goals and objectives in an independent manner.
Creativity The Faculty works to stimulate both individual and collective creativity, ensuring the optimal use of available resources.
Transparency and Information Sharing The Faculty believes that transparency and disclosure are fundamental to achieving its goals. By efficiently distributing information among all personnel, trust is strengthened among students, faculty, and staff, thereby encouraging their participation in development plans.
Participation and Teamwork Development cannot be realized without active and positive participation that elevates individual and institutional performance. The Faculty emphasizes fair and effective involvement of all those engaged in education, research, and community service—at every level—without discrimination. Each member contributes according to their role, with equal importance, leading to integrated performance and the full utilization of their capabilities.
Equity Equal educational opportunities mean not only granting everyone the right to education but also providing them with all possible means to succeed. Thus, equity in education involves continuity, success, achievement, and having the chance to excel.
Quality and Excellence The Faculty understands the current and future needs and expectations of its beneficiaries and is committed to meeting those expectations—whether they concern students, graduates, faculty, the job market, or administrative staff. It pursues quality leadership, unified vision, mission, and strategy across its systems, fosters a supportive educational and organizational environment, bases decisions on facts, and aims for continuous improvement to achieve excellence and boost its competitive edge.

Accreditation

The B.Sc. degrees, granted to ERU graduates, have been accredited by the Supreme Council of Egyptian Universities and the Ministry of Higher Education.
