Welcome To the Faculty of Oral and Dental Medicine

The Quality Assurance Unit was established by the College Council Decision on 3/3/2019. The establishment of the unit’s executive council was approved at the college council session on May 12, 2019. It is treated as an independent unit that reports to the college dean administratively and technically to the university’s Quality Assurance and Accreditation Center.
The unit’s board of directors comprises the dean, vice deans, faculty members, members of the executive committees, faculty members and their assistants, students, administrators, members of the external community, and alumni. Among the unit’s tasks are setting mechanisms for follow-up and performance evaluation, activating the internal review of all the college’s activities, following up on the implementation of the various plans approved by the College Council, exploring the views of the internally and externally concerned parties, and defining and activating training courses for leaders, faculty members, the supporting body, administrators, and students.

Developing the basic mechanisms of internal quality assurance systems to achieve continuous performance development and rank among the leading units at the local level.
The Quality Assurance Unit seeks to achieve comprehensive quality and continuous development in all elements of the educational process and research and service activities provided by the college through spreading the culture of quality and evaluating performance in light of the standards of the National Authority for Educational Quality Assurance and Accreditation to improve the efficiency of its educational and research outputs and community service and the level of competence and competitiveness of its graduates. Gaining the trust and satisfaction of beneficiaries to obtain accreditation.
  1. Ensuring that the conditions and requirements of the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation are met and that the college is qualified to obtain accreditation.
  2. Spreading a culture of quality and ensuring accreditation among faculty members, their assistants, members of the administrative staff, employees, and college students, which achieves performance excellence and supports the completion of tasks.
  3. Improving the quality of the academic programs offered by the college, which is reflected in the level of graduates.
  4. Documenting the vision, mission, and strategic goals of the college and the mechanism for updating them
  5. Achieving the college’s mission and strategic goals by ensuring the quality of educational, research, and community activities

  7. Implementing the necessary mechanisms to achieve and maintain internal audit systems
  8. Establish a system for receiving and following up on student complaints and a mechanism for dealing with them.
  9. Prepare a mechanism to evaluate performance and ensure quality at the college for oversight and follow-up, approve the annual reporting system, and develop a work plan within the college

Create a complete database for the college that includes (faculty members - faculty assistants - college employees and workers - college students - college programs - academic degrees awarded by the college - descriptions of programs and courses - identifying beneficiaries of college graduates and their requirements)
  11. Upholding the values of excellence and competitiveness in all specializations affiliated with the college
  12. Gaining community confidence in graduates and proposing the establishment of new programs according to community needs
  13. Maximizing the performance of various departments through evaluation reports to manage continuous improvement and development to reach the required quality level
  14. Regulating the college’s performance in the field of community service and environmental development and raising and increasing communication between the college and its graduates
